Here are a few pictures of the boats during the boat races... or competitions (a word that my English I students learned this past week)... they are really just huge canoes with about 50 guys paddling and one guy blowing a whistle so they will row all at the same time...
This is one of the famous 'light' boats that they pull into the water at night for everyone to see...
