Seda's fellow managers from Transform Cambodia met us for dinner last Sunday night as well as Mr. Wayne and Sheryl. They gave her a very nice necklace as a gift.
I never got used to this, but for some reason, most Cambodians throw all of their garbage (old bones, cans, tissues, anything that they don't want to eat) on the floor during the meal... this is not a result of clean-up, but of a good meal...
Just a short note to all of you out there who have been praying for us over the last few days in regard to Seda's immigration visa. In short, she got it! We are supposed to pick it up next week, and then we can begin to think about travel arrangements to get back to the States. We are really excited to be coming for a lot of reasons, not the least of which are seeing friends and family (read: all of you!). Have a great week, and may Jesus bless you!
Here are a bunch of pics from our Christmas present to the family... a trip to the beach! Sihanoukville, Cambodia... 7 of the ten people in our group had never been to the ocean, so we had a great time... also, it was the first time for some of them to stay in a hotel... an interesting experience complete with taking all of the free soap, shampoo, etc...
